Shore Scenic Railroad NEWS!!

The former Wisconsin Central locomotive engineer training simulator is
now up and running.
The newly repainted C&NW bilevel, GN dining car Lake of the Isles
(storage in Green Bay), and SOO line GP30 #700, GN NW-5 #192, and
Missabe combine W-24 should all be arriving at the museum soon.
Former Minnesota and Northfield Southern H10-44, now painted for Hallet
Dock and lettered HD-11, is finally back on property!
Equipment afore mentioned has arrived on property.
News from Fall of 2007

NSSR's hi-rail crane to be started up and doing some work for the NSSR
for the first time ever on Tuesday, the 20th.

NEW WHEELS HAVE FINALLY BEEN FOUND FOR THE DM&IR COACH #33. A private
donor donated the wheel sets to the museum and they will be put under
this historic and famous coach in April.

Tom is painting the interior
roof of the Missabe car a green. The interior is coming around nicely.
The 700 and the W24 are going to be shipped up to Proctor for the
winter.

The Minnesota 2, now formally
known as the Northern Pacific #517, has had all of its lettering
stenciled on. It is almost ready for a season at the NSSR. We are
looking for people to donate money toward the recovering of the cars
seats. So if you know anybody that is interested, give the NSSR/ Museum
a call.

Another bi-level has been
purchased for use on the NSSR.

During the Dec. 1,2,3 Polar Express the snow was so bad that on Saturday
the former Missabe #193 had to be operated out to the shop building to
give the crew a ride back into the museum! The #193 was also used on
Sunday to pull the Budd car along because of the snow drifts.
