  • The Minnesota 2, now formally known as the Northern Pacific #517, has had all of its lettering stenciled on. It is almost ready for a season at the NSSR. We are looking for people to donate money toward the recovering of the cars seats. So if you know anybody that is interested, give the NSSR/ Museum a call.

  • Another bi-level has been purchased for use on the NSSR.

  • During the Dec. 1,2,3 Polar Express the snow was so bad that on Saturday the former Missabe #193 had to be operated out to the shop building to give the crew a ride back into the museum! The #193 was also used on Sunday to pull the Budd car along because of the snow drifts.
