The "Polar Express" departs from Fitger's Brewery Complex and journeys along the lake walk arriving at the Lake Superior Railroad museum.

Once there, passengers de-board and enter thru a path lit by luminaries into the ticket office.  Once inside passengers will be enchanted by an antique model railroad display.   

 

Inside the museum you will also be greeted by carolers and can watch and listen to a live reading of the Polar Express, with costumed actors.  Everyone gets an "imagine" jingle bell and a visit with Santa, after which you will re-board the train back to Fitger's where you may enjoy a bonfire, warm cocoa and cookies. 

 

When you arrive at Fitgers, enter the building through the front doors, and go down one level.  You will need to exit the building into the courtyard.  You'll see all the decorations, and the bonfire!  It will keep you nice and warm while waiting for the Polar Express train with others. 

When the train arrives, you will go down the courtyard steps to board the train.  Once inside, you'll feel toasty warm, and will feel the fun and excitement of all the children and happy parents for this evening experience!
